I am 2009 pass-out B.E in Electronics & Communication from RNS Institute of Technology, Bangalore (Visvesvaraya Technological University)......

I have applied for GATE 2010 Exam.

What is the right career for me?

I want to do part time job as well for my expenses while preparing for GATE 2010. Please suggest me & inform me about the related part time jobs in my field.

It depends on your choice and future plans, whether you want to do a government job in any field or wants to use your engineering skills to help any private company.

MBA from a recognized institute is a best option for you if you have an interest in making a career in business sector and if you wants to do a government job in future then MTech is the best option for you to choose.

My advice is tell home tutions for B.Tect students,by this u can be more touch with u r Engg.Subjects & u will get money for u r expenses

See first and fore most thing the choice solely depends on person while there are many choices after B.E but a person have to select the fields according to there field of interest as well looking at there capability.While a person have a interest in Administrative fiels he can opt for IES,IAS,IFS and varous civil service exams.Rather than this if a person has aspiration for charming fieid they can opt for Big exams like CAT,ZMAT,GRE,Toffel etc.As far as B.E students r concerned if they wants to remain in there technical fields itself they can go for one of the most famous exam GATE exam which is open for almost each and every engineering student in there respective branches.Apart from all there exams for research work like DRDO,ISRO which is open for four branches of B.E they r ME,CS,Ec...etc.They r several exams conduted by bank sector even the railway sector for which you have keep track on the news paper like employement news paper which is weekly.I hope this may help u.

U can do online data entry jobs and earn money.And attempt for online examinations to get knowledge in ur syllabus for GATE

after BE:
1)choose :GATE
CAT
GRE
or job.
but if u r not interesed in any of it than go for
bank,defence services ,railways,exams.

Its depends on which field you are good if you are good in management then do mba its worth full

As you have done ur BE in EC then u hav plenty of options in psu's,because EC is the core branch so u dont have to worry about your career ,look if you have a deep interest in ur own field then GATE is a good option,and my suggestion is that as u r preparing for gate ,do fill the govt exams form because the syllabus of gate and that govt. exams are somewhat same,both exams focuses on technical knowledge,so by preparing for gate u have two options.n if you want to go in management field then go for mba.so its depend upon your area of interested.
for you expenses take BE tutions,it will help you in two ways,first it will give you money and second is that as you are preparing for gate so it will help you in sharpen your technical knowledge of your own field.

you can give interviews for job in private firm...
you can go for govt. job as well...

AS YOU have completed B. Tech (ECE) you should go in VLSI Design field.
There is good scope for VLSI professionals in India. After M.Tech.

In my opinion no other job is perfect other then teaching as a partime job. You can earn 5 figures (at least) by teaching as a private tutor.
You can earn up to 8000 by online teaching for 2hrs at TUTOR VISTA and so on.

better you go for higher studies..work hard..all d best...

today as the markets are down it is better to go for higher studies.

After doing B.E. you could try for some part time jobs. Since you have applied for gate prepare and get good scores so that could be able to apply for higher studies as well as for your govt as well as private sector jobs...

there are a lot of fields u can go after ur graduation degree....this was just the begineeing of ur large career........
1. if u want a permanent and secure job , u should go for defence forces....u will be paid good,facilities provided are the best, and your family will be living a peaceful and standard life.

2.if u want that ur engg. degreee shud not go waste then u shud go for m.tech
where after 2 more years u will be paid handsome money packages.

3.if intrested in govt. job then go for IS.its the best

4.if intrested in management ,then go for mba.....

First you have to chose the field in you are intrested after that you can do M.E,M.tech,MS

Hi, you have the diffrent option to choose as your career but could I ask you why are you not going to do job after BE ?
Well M.Sc. in electronics,
M.Tech. in relevant feild,
MCA etc. are the best choice where you can take admission.

Notification is announced regarding various vacant posts in BSNL every year in 'employment news' and other leading news papers.

TNPSC will be held on mid of march 2010,last date of submission of form is 31.12.2009

you have two options ME/Mtech and MBA.......option is yours....if you want to work in your core company for better salary you can go for ME/Mtech. if you are interested in leadership,ability to lead the team as project manager,have skills you can go for MBA.

other than gate here is something which you woud definitely like
Embedded System design is an emerging area, career in VLSI is also a latest choince in field of Electronics and Communication.

hey dont be confused,there are several option after b.tech like:

1)go for higher studies after writing GATE

2)go for MBA,after writing CAT,XAT,MAT etc

3)make career in defense services by writing CDSE

4)make career in merchant navy

5)make career in fashin technology ,after writing NIFT.

as u can do part time m.tech after passing gate from various NITs..and also u can do m.tech as sponsered candidate (if company or organisation sponsers u)...better way is to teach in any engineering college and to do m.tech part time..after m.tech go for phd and earn stippned...
u can select IITs for M.Tech as IIT give handsome stippned...so go for GATE preparation

i like ur opinion but if u want to do job
its a great part because u'll gain experience and then if u clear ur cat then during job u'll be given more preference
otherwise if u don't want to have job then after b.e u should go for m.tech

-CDAC course for ECE
-BSNL, NTPC,DRDO many govt. service exams including IES too
these requires a minimum concepts from your gate exam.

its better u do a PG course,, u need to do a specialisation course,, give me ur email id and i'll send some info in form of power point presentations, which giv an idea of the prospects after this course!!! if u hav good financial background,, go for a PG abroad!! try for internships also

well this entirely depends on your choice about what next as there is MBA , Mtech & computer courses along with it so any thing whatever you want to opt is purely your choice but i can just guide you as if you want to move in businesss line then an mba degree will be good and for being moving in the same track a Mtech degree will be better but regarding the part time job you have to be sure about the place you stay and the jobs available there and regarding gate all the best hope you qualify it.. good luck

I suggest you to do a job and take admission in MBA. You will get experience in your field and knowledge of the management field also and after that you can get a good salary package...........

after completing be go for higher studies either ME or MBA or MS .. or you can go for a job

other wise i will suggest you for the job,

and after getting job you can do m.tech through correspondence.

first if you love your core subjects like .
digital,lan,antenna,communication,networking,micro processor....
then you prepare for gate ...
if you crack the gate exam then
you gate 7000 to 11000 Stephen per month...
then you do not need for part time job ....
if you are not passed in this time it will be better for
you prepare for next time ...and keep searching for
different job...which you would like to do...

you can become a pilot. try getting the training which usually lasts for 1.5-2 yrs though exp is around 20 lacs . bu u know salaries of pilots its 2-5lacs per month...

and ca/ cs is no cakewalk. u need to put 12-15 hrs atleast to pass them an still 5-10% pass it...............

if you want to do any jobs relevant to this so teaching job is very good for you...

you can join any BPO (call center) for time being.also do hard work to clear GATE exam.after fetting good score in GATE you can join any reputed enginnering college.you will get scholarship for M.TECH. program.

you can also become tutor for some time.you can earn good money from tuition.

so prepare well for GATE exam.

you have completed your B.E. now you want to do pert time job..

in that case , you can go for teaching.. teaching is a best pert time job for earning money , you can go for call center jobs..
you can do some short term courses like embedded system,vlsi design..
which will help you in doing Mtech...

If you are applying for the GATE exam then you should not have to worry about the part time job as because if you can score good percentile then you will get the scholarship from the college..

For example suppose you have got more then 96 percentile then you can apply for any of the IIT's then you will get 14000 as a stipend from the college for your M.Tech studies..

So nothing to worry about it ,just try to score good percentile in the GATE exam and start your preparation without wasting any time..

Or if you want to do job you can also go for that the jobs in the multinational companies such as TCS or BSNL or Bhel etc......
