If you want to become laboratory assistant, then you can apply for DMLT (Diploma in Medical Lab Technology). After DMLT diploma you are eligible for the post of laboratory assistant. Here below are details regarding DMLT Course:-

Eligibility Condition for DMLT Course:- Minimum qualification required to apply for DMLT course is 10+2 from science stream from government recognized board with minimum 50% marks. Relaxation of 5% marks for candidate under SC/ST category.

Duration of DMLT Course:- Duration of diploma in medical lab technology course after 10+2 is 2 years.

Major Subjects to be Studied In DMLT Course:- Major subjects to be studied in DMLT course are:-

>> Basic laboratory equipment and basic chemistry.

>> Basic hematology.

>> Blood banking and Immune hematology.
