Duration of Mtech , is generally two years for regular course , but it can be extended if you are not in regular course. IITs , now a days , have MS courses as well which are of two years duration. You have to apply for GATE for admission. Other than GATE, you should fulfill CGPA/percentage criteria as well. Different IITs have different criteria. But in general you should have more than 70% or CGPA greater than 6.5.
Regarding fee, it is very low (approx. 10,000 per semester) , but you have hostel expenses also, which are in the range 15,000 - 25,000 per semester. There are scholarship for SC/ST students. |
