What is the educational requirement to become a District Collector?

Can I become a District Collector without having a graduation degree and have passed my Intermediate (12th) from non-medical stream? If not, then let me know about the minimum educational criteria for District Collector.

To become District Collector, you have to appear and qualify in Civil Service Examination.

The examination is conducted by UPSC. It is conducted in three stages.

The required minimum qualification to appear in the examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university.

So, you have to pursue bachelor degree in any discipline to become eligible to appear in the examination. For more information visit at www.upsc.gov.in.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
