I would like to inquire about the eligibility criteria of Cognizant. I have checked eligibility criteria of the company and seen many negative reviews so, I though I should directly confirm this with you. The scores are as follows :
1. 10 th - 72%
2. 12th - 74%
3. Engineering - 55%
4. M.Tech - 80%
Should I apply for the company because I have < 60% in engineering?

Cognizant is one of the MNC in IT sector.

Like many other MNCs in IT Sector, Cognizant too follows triple 60 criteria for recruiting employees. That means, candidate should have scored at least 60% marks in 10th, 12th and Graduation.

As you have scored 60+ percentage in 10th, 12th, but less than 60% in Graduation. So, you are not eligible for applying to Cognizant.

Only full-time courses will be considered (Part Time/Correspondence courses will not be considered).

1) B.E / B.Tech in any discipline (CSE/ECE/IT/EEE/TELECOM/M.E/CIVIL etc).

2) Engineering candidates who have passed out in the year 2018 & 2017 are eligible to apply.

3) M.Sc graduates in Computer Science & Information technology can apply.

4) MCA graduates are also eligible to apply.

5) The graduation should be a Full-Time course recognized by Central/State government of India.

Please note that a candidate is expected to have good communication & interpersonal skills, along with a good command on technical subjects.
