What is the eligibility criteria to apply for CID Officer examination?
Hi, can you tell me in detail the different eligibility criteria to apply for CID Officer entrance examination? What should be the minimum educational criteria and what is the lower and upper age limit? Any relaxation for any caste category?

The full form of CID is Criminal Investigation Department. For Sub Inspector level posts, you can apply for SSC CGL exam. For officer level entry, you need to join Indian Police Services through Civil Services examination.
The eligibility for both exams is same. It is bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognized university. The age limit is 18-27 years for CGL and 21-32 years for UPSC Civil Services exam. |
