Tell me what is the physical criteria for a CID examination 2015? What is the future of a female CID officers are a female eligible in CID?plz tell me the answer

CID stands for Criminal Investigation Department.

The exam is conducted by SSC and the candidates are selected on the basis of CGL exam which is generally held in the month of April every year.

The eligibility criteria to apply for the exam are following:-

-The candidate should be an Indian.

-The candidate must have completed graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized college/ university.Final year appearing student can also apply for the exam.There is no percentage bar for the marks obtained in the graduation degree.

-The age limit to apply for the exam is from 20 years to 27 years for general category,20 years to 30 years for OBC candidate and 20 years to 32 years for SC/ST candidates.

Physical Requirements:-

Height
For male candidate - 165 cms.
For female candidate -150 cms
Height is relaxed for Hill men and Tribals by 5 cms.

Chest
76 cms with expansion.

Eye-Sight (with or without glasses)
Distant Vision :6/6 in one and 6/9 in other eye.
Near Vision:0.6 in one eye and 0.8 in other eye


-The selection process involves;

* Written test,

*Physical test and

* Personal interview.

Physical criteria for CID exam:-

CID , Physical standard for male candidate:-

i) Physical Standards ( Minimum )

Height 157.5 cms.
Chest 81 cms. ( expanded of 5 cms. )

ii) SSC Physical Test :

Walking : 1600 metres in 15 minutes.
Cycling : 8 Kms. In 30 minutes.

CBI , Physical standard for female candidate:-

i) Physical standards ( Minimum )
Height 152 cms.
Weight 48 Kgs.

ii) Physical Test

Walking : 1 Km. in 20 minutes.
Cycling : 3 Kms. in 25 minutes.

c) Vision :

Eye-sight ( with or without glasses )
Distant vision : 6/6 in one and 6/9 in the other eye.
Near vision 0.6 in one eye and 0.8 in other eye.

CID stands for Central Investigation Department.Candidate must be a citizen of India.Candidate must have a graduation degree.

Candidate age should be between 20 Years to 27 Years.Age Relaxation for OBC Candidate is 3 years and 5 Years for SC/ST.

Candidates are selected on the basis of Prelims Exam,Main Exam and Interview.
Girls are also eligible for CID.

For girls height should be 152 cm.Age should be between 20 years to 25 years.There is no Physical Requirement for CID Officer.
