What is the eligibility criteria for applying TGT? Can you please give me the minimum criteria required and the step by step process which we need to follow for the same? It will be really helpful if you can answer me soon as possible. Thanks!

TGT stands for Trainee Graduate Teachers.

Eligibility criteria for TGT:

Candidate should complete the graduation in B.Ed or BTC.

Candidate age limit is minimum 21 years.

Age relaxation applicable as per government rules.

Eligibility criteria for applying TGT:-

->>You should have Four years’ integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with minimum 50% marks in aggregate or Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 50% marks in the concerned subjects/combination of subjects and in aggregate.

->>Applicant minimum age must be 21 years while on as on 01 July, 2014 and age relaxation is relevant as per the state government rules.

TGT stands for Trained Graduate Teacher.

Minimum required eligibility to apply for TGT :-

- The candidate should possess Graduation degree in any discipline with B.Ed degree from a recognized university.

- The minimum age limit to sit for this exam is 21 years and there is no upper age limit for this exam.

- The selection of candidate is carried out based on their performance in written exam and interview.

Syllabus for the exam consists of general awareness, reasoning, mathematics, historical facts and science questions etc.
