I have completed my 12th followed by B.Tech Automobile Engineering. Is there any chance for me to get Brake Inspector job in Indian Railways? Is there any entrance as well? If yes, then please share entrance details.

Eligibility criteria for Brake Inspector job in Railways;-

The candidate should have completed 10th standard and a diploma in automobile engineering or mechanical engineering to eligible for the post of brake inspector.

Age limit should be in between 21 years to 30 years.

Entrance exam is conducted by State Public Service Commission.

The syllabus of exam:-
Aptitude
Reasoning
General English and Current Affairs.

The applicant should have completed graduation with good academic record from any recognized university of India.

AGE LIMIT : General-21 to 30 years. OBC-21 to 33 years.

Candidate should have a heavy driving license with minimum of 2 years experience.
