Hi, I have completed my BCA and now I want to do M.Sc Mathematics from IGNOU. Am I eligible? If yes, then how can I apply for it? When can I apply for it? Or, should I go for MCA from IGNOU?

Having completed BCA course in Graduation, it is always better to go for MCA course in Post Graduation whether it is IGNOU or any other university.

The reason being, MCA candidates will have good number of job opportunities compared to those candidates who did M.Sc Mathematics.

In addition, you are not eligible to join M.Sc Mathematics in IGNOU.

Only those candidates who have Major or Honors with Mathematics in Graduation are eligible to apply for M.Sc Mathematics.

If there are any seats remains, then preference will be given to B.Sc or BA candidates who have Mathematics as one of the subject in their Graduation.

Nothing is mentioned regarding eligibility for BCA candidates for M.Sc Mathematics course.
