What is the eligibility criteria of Immigration Officer in India?
Hi, could anybody please tell me about the eligibility criteria and application procedure for Immigration Officer in India? Is there any entrance? If yes, then please provide the details of entrance.

Eligibility criteria of immigration officer in India:-
The candidate should have passed bachelor degree in any stream from a recognised University. There are many types of works in Bureau of immigration in India like in Airports, Embassies, Research department etc. |

Graduates with a degree in any subject from a recognised University.
Qualification in languages or legal studies can prove advantages. You will also need good level and GCSE results. All candidates should be British nationals. |

Immigration Officers in India are recruited through UPSC and SSC entrance exams.
UPSC exam (Civil Services Exam) For qualifying this exam, you will have to qualify following stages:
SSC (Staff Selection Commission) For this exam, you will have to clear the Tier 1, Tier 2 and then Personal Interview with good marks. Through this exam, you will become Assistant Grade Officers or Grade B Officers. |
