M.Sc stands for Master of Science. M.Sc in Biotechnology is a 2 year Post Graduation course being offered by number of colleges in India.

The minimum academic qualification that is required for the candidates to join this course is by completion of Graduation with life science subjects like
Biotechnology
Microbiology
Botany
Zoology
Bio- Informatics etc.

One should score a minimum of 50% of marks in the Graduation to get admission.

The admission will be given on the basis of performance in the Entrance Exam.

Each and every university will conduct its own Entrance Exam to give admission for this course.

Yes. You are eligible to join M.Sc in Biotechnology even though if you complete your Graduation with Botany and Zoology subjects.

But you will have to face little problems in understanding the subject knowledge in the initial days.

You should put more efforts in gaining in depth knowledge on those topics as you don't have any prior background in that field.

If you are about to join Graduation, then opt for Biotechnology subject in the Graduation itself.

Otherwise opt for it in the Post Graduation.

You should be having strong subject knowledge and practical knowledge to get the job opportunities.

Try to be good enough with them.

Wish you all the best.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
