Quote:
Since you are a Bio Science student, you have the eligibility to apply for the R&D jobs in Pharmaceutical companies and if you pursue M.Sc in Clinical Research than the M.Sc in Biotechnology, you can get more preference than the latter, also the course has its own value in the R&D in clinical and medical research. All the Best !!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Re: Eligibility criteria for seeking jobs in medicine, chemical, pharmaceutical companies and research labs?
Hello Surabhi,
I must tell you that this is a perfect time to pursue higher studies in biotechnology because according to the experts, more than hundred foreign firms are planning to set up shop in India to outsource research and development jobs. MSc after BSc in biotechnology and MTech after BTech in biotechnology is always the best path to follow. MSc or MTech in biotechnology, whichever you pursue, will definitely make you eligible to get satisfactory job. You will have many options like researcher/scientist at pharmaceutical, biotech companies and also in government bodies after successfull completion of any of these programmes. In the present scenario, there are already many organisations which absorbs bio-technologists and offer them a good career but in the near future there will be lot more options available. |

Along with doing your research works in pathological labs you can do the Phd programs also in biotech or clinical research.
