Hi, I am going to apply for PhD in Neurochemistry from NIMHANS, Bangalore. I have to write an entrance exam for this. So, could anybody please share the syllabus and exam pattern details of this entrance? Also, share past year's solved papers.

The syllabus for different stream is different and it will be according to your choice of Ph.D program. First of all you must have a Master's degree with at least 55% marks from a recognized University. There is relaxation in marks for reserved category candidates.

If you have qualified exams like CSIR NET/GATE/UGC NET/SLET, then you will have greater chance of getting admission in a top institute like NIMHANS. If you don't have these scores, then also you can apply for Ph.D admission but chances of getting admission will be a bit less.
