Please find the below information as Constable selection stages, physical requirements, marks and the process.....
Andhra Pradesh (AP) police constable’s selection stages

Andhra Pradesh has invited applications for the post of constable recently. I hope you have applied for this post earlier. Now do you know, what will happen during the recruitment process? Here are the stages of selection in AP police as a constable.

The recruitment process contains four stages which are
Candidates will be forwarded to next stage only when they are qualified in the previous stage.

1. Physical Measurement Test

You should be physically fit as per physical standards .
After measurement candidates will proceed for race of 5km must be completed in 25 min. (Very easy…isn’t it?)
2. PET

It includes the following events
100 Meters run, Long Jump, Shot-put (7.26 Kilograms), High Jump, 800 Meters Run
3. Bonus Marks

Higher qualified candidates will get more visibility as they will get some bonus points according to their qualification .

10th class – 5 marks
Intermediate – 7 marks
Degree & above – 10 marks

4. Checking of original documents

If you are qualified in all the above 3 stages then you will be required to check your documents .
After all the final selection will be made through a merit list.

STANDARD OF PHYSICAL MEASUREMENT FOR CONSTABLE:

1. HEIGHT: Minimum 170 cms.

Relaxable by 5 cms for residents of hill areas i.e. Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas and candidates belonging to states of Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunanchal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Kashmir and Leh & Ladakh regions of J&K

2. CHEST: Minimum 81 cms to 85 cms.
Relaxable by 5 cms for residents of hill areas for which certificates as above will be produced.
