Educational qualification needed to apply for the position of head constable in Indian Police Forces:

Normally, head constables are appointed for different departments like telecommunication, electrical, workshop, Ministerial, etc… and therefore the educational qualification differs according to the department for which they are appointed. For instance, in the case of head constable recruitment for telecommunication department is concerned, candidates must have completed their 10+2 in science stream with mathematics, chemistry and physics subjects. Even candidates, who have done diploma course in an approved Industrial Training Institution in any of the streams like electrical, information technology, computer science, instrumentation or electronics & Communication after their class 10 examination are eligible to apply for the telecommunication head constable position.

Process of Selection:
