What are the job positions in Banking Sector after M.A Economics? How can I get job in private banks?


What are the job position in the banking sector after ma economics both in the private as well as in the government and how i can get job in the private banks ?

After Post graduation, you can join officer ranks in banks. In case of job vacancies in both private and public sector banks, notifications will be published in official sites. You can apply for the apt positions as per your educational qualifications. Private Banks organize separate recruitment exams. On the other hand, you can join as PO in public sector banks by appearing for the IBPS exam where in you should clear written test which will focus on topics like GK, mathematical ability, reasoning, English skills, computer skills etc. If you qualify written exam, you need to attend GD and P.I.

I m pursuing b.com from du..nd applying for MA eco ...but i m great confusion for either continue applying for ma only or for llb too...please suggest me..which would be better nd opportunities after law

The entry level positions in various banks are
Clerical Positions
Probationary Officers

The selection procedure for both these positions will include
Written Exam
Interview

The written exam consists of questions from the following categories
Reasoning
Numerical Ability
General Awareness
General English
Computer Knowledge

Here is the eligibility criteria to apply for these positions.

You should have completed Graduation with any of the stream to apply for Clerical positions.

But to apply for PO positions, you should have completed your Graduation with a minimum of 60% of marks.

Here is the required age criteria to apply for these positions.

For General category : 20-28 years.
Relaxation in upper age limit upto 3 years for the candidates of OBC category.
Relaxation in upper age limit upto 5 years for the candidates of SC or ST category.

In public sector, IBPS is conducting common written exam for the recruitment of these positions.

In private sector, each and every bank will conduct its own selection procedure to recruit candidates for these positions.
