Kerala medical entrance examination is conducted for those candidates who are interested to get a degree in MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery), BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery), BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery), BSMS (Bachelor of Siddha Medicine and Surgery), BHMS (Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery).

Eligibility Criteria:-

-To give this exam you should have passed Higher Secondary examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education.
-You need to have 50% marks in Biology/Biotechnology separately and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology put together.
-In the absence of Biology, Biotechnology will be considered as a subject for academic eligibility
-If you are about to appear for Higher Secondary examinationin then also you can apply for this exam.
-You should have completed 17 years of age before applying for this exam. There is no upper age limit for this exam.

Qualifying marks required:-

• General- 50%
• SC/ST/SEBC- 40%
• Locomotory Disability of lower limbs between 40% to 70%- 45%
