Is it possible to become a Police Officer while you are studying History, Business Studies and Consumer? And, after Matriculation which steps should I follow that leads to study for a Police Officer?

For recruitment as an officer in Police department, you have to appear and qualify in various recruitment examination conducted for the same in various stages.

The minimum required educational qualification to appear in the examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognised university.

There is no limitation on the discipline of bachelor degree to appear in the examination.

The age limit varies with examination.

So, you can pursue the required educational qualification to become eligible to appear in the examination and prepare for the examination as per the syllabus for the selection.

You need minimum qualification of degree in any discipline from a recognized University and then you can apply for UPSC IPS examination. After clearing the exam there will be an interview and before admission there will be Police training program and also Physical fitness test.

One should have completed Graduation at least to become a Police Officer. Any stream or specialization in Graduation gives you the eligibility to apply for various recruitment process of Police Department.
