What is the minimum age bracket for NDA exams?

Sir, my date of birth is 23rd March, 2000. Can I give my first NDA exam in the year 2019? If not, then in which I will be eligible to appear for my first NDA exam?

No, you are not eligible to apply for upcoming NDA Exam.

As per upcoming NDA exam age criteria, candidates born after 2 July, 2000 and before 1 July, 2003 are eligible.

As your DOB is 23rd March, 2000 so you are not eligible. This age bracket will shift further so you won't be able to appear in NDA exams in future.

However, you can apply for CDS exam after graduation.

NDA refers to National Defense Academy and to join the same one is required to qualify NDA entrance examination held by UPSC twice every year.

Further, the NDA 2019 examinations i.e; NDA I 2019 and NDA II 2019 will be held for offering admission in NDA courses commencing from 02 January 2020 and 2nd July 2020 respectively and as per the age criteria for joining NDA, your age should be under 19.5 years by the commencement date of NDA course.

So, having born on 2nd March 2000, you are not eligible for appearing in NDA 2019 as your age will exceed 19.5 years by the commencement of NDA courses 2020.

For more details regarding the same examination, you can refer to the link www.upsc.gov.in.
