What is the minimum education required to become a Soldier?
Hi, could anybody please tell me the minimum education required to join Indian Military? Is Soldier and Military same? I have not completed my 10th Board exams. So, can I join Army without 10th also?

The minimum qualification for Soldier General Duty post is a class 10th degree with an aggregate score of 45 percent and atleast 33 per cent marks in each subject.

The minimum eligibility criteria for Indian Army is 10th pass or ITI course. Candidates having lower academic qualification than this are not eligible for Indian Army 's job.
