What are the minimum qualifications required to apply B.Ed in long distance? Can you please give me the complete details on this? It will be really helpful if you can answer me on this soon as possible. Awaiting for the response on this. Thank you!

Bachelor of Education or B. Ed is an undergraduate program of 2 years duration
the minimum criteria for this exam is
Successful completion of graduation in any of Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (B. Sc.) or Bachelor in Commerce (B. Com.) from a recognized university
Having minimum aggregate score of 50 percent in graduation
Having minimum aggregate score of 55 percent at post-graduate level

B.Ed stands for Bachelor in Education and it is two year or four semester course. The required minimum qualification to get admission in course is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognised university.

The minimum required aggregate to appear in entrance examination is 50% relaxation for reserved category.

So, if you have above qualification you can appear in examination for admission in course.

If you want to do B.ED (Bachelor of Education), then minimum qualification required to apply for B.ED course is graduation of equivalent qualification. Here below are details regarding B.ED course.

>> Duration of bachelors of education course is 2 years.

>> Applicant for B.ED course must have done bachelor’s degree in Arts, Commerce, Science from government recognized institute with minimum 50% marks obtained.

B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) is a 1 - 2 years course. This course can be done in regular or correspondence or distance education. Any candidate who wanted to become a government teacher/ lecturer need to complete this course.
The eligibility requirements for doing this course in distance are given below.

- The candidate should have completed their graduation/ post graduation level degree in any related stream with 50% from any recognized university.
- Two years of teaching experience in any government schools or any government recognized schools.
