What is the NET eligibility criteria for December, 2019 exam session?

Can I appear for coming NET exam in December, 2019? My 3rd semester is not cleared only. I will pass that 3rd semester exam in December. What are the chances of applying?

Default Re: What is the NET eligibility criteria for December, 2019 exam session?

The minimum education required to appearing in NET (National Eligibility Test) is a master's degree ( in your interested paper for teaching) with at least 55% marks from a recognised university. Marks relaxation upto 5% is allowed for candidates belonging to reserved category.

Further, there is no maximum age limit for appearing in the same examination for the post of Assistant Professor but for joining JRFs, the maximum permissible age is 28 years for general category candidates with age relaxation applicable for reserved category candidates as per the norms.

So, once you complete your Master's degree course in December 2019, you will be certainly eligible to appear for NET 2019 as final year candidates are eligible for appearing in the same examination.

For details regarding the same examination, you can visit its official website www.ntanet.nic.in.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
