Re: What are the options of Jobs and courses for commerce students?
About jobs:
Very few jobs are available for 12th pass out candidate... They can only explore their talent in fields like: Bank sectors, railways, Primary school teachers, Indian Army, most of the time a 12th pass candidate got the position of a clerk or lower than this. But not higher than this. So my suggestion is to complete your graduation in any field, whatever you like. After that more options will be open to you like Bank PO jobs, IAS, IPS, CDS, high school teachers etc. About courses: After completing your 12th from commerce, you can go for further studies like: 1. plain B.com, then go for M.com or MCA or MBA. 2. CA 3. CFA 4. BBA(Bachelor of Business Administration), after that you can go for MBA. 5. Law dgree, LLB 6. B.B.M (Business Management), 7. B.F.M. (Bachelor’s Degree in Financial Markets), 8. B.A.F. (Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting & Finance), 9. B.B.I. (Bachelor’s Degree in Banking and Insurance), 10. B.M.M. (Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Media & Communication), 11. CS (Company Secretary), 12. B.H.M (hotel management) etc. So my suggestion in higher studies after 12th, and not jobs. |

Re: What are the options of Jobs and courses for commerce students?
Bachelor of Business Administration BBA is simpler and lays emphasis on business administration. There are some Professional Degrees which can be done alongwith BBA to give your qualification a heavy weight and to boost your career.
You may choose any of the following courses : Chartered Accountancy : It is purely accounting based and the power and status enjoyed by a Chartered Accountant are very high. This deals in Statutory Accounting of the Company. Cost and Management Accountancy : As a Cost Accountants you will be involve in management planning and determining cost policy of companies. Company Secretary : It deals in legal matters, securities law and capital market. You'll act as a link between the board of directors and government. Any of the above course is a good option. After completion you won't have to find a job but the recruiters will call you up. The starting salary may start any where from Rs.35,000. All the above courses take a minimum of 3 years in completion which becomes suitable and easier for you to complete while you are pursuing your graduation. |
