Re: What is the passing marks required in each subject in common proficiency test?
Common Proficiency Test which is popular known as CPT is the stage first of Chartered Accountancy examination. It is a online test which is held twice every year once in the month of June and once in the month of December.
The paper is of 200 marks which consists of two sections which are as below :- Section I :- Accounting ( 60 marks ) and Mercantile Law ( 40 marks ). Section II :- Economics ( 50 marks ) and Quantitative Aptitude ( 50 marks ). For qualifying the same examination, you need to secure a minimum of 30% aggregate in both sections with overall aggregate of 50%. Also to be eligible for the same examination, one needs to have completed his/her higher secondary school degree. |
