Re: What is the pattern of IAS entrance exam? Is there negative marking?
To give the IAS Exam you need to be a graduate first in any discipline from a recognized university.
Your age should be between 21-30 years and there is age relaxation of upto 5 years for the SC/ST candidates and upto 3 years for the OBC candidates. At the most you can attempt for four times. No negative marking is there so you will get the freedom to answer as many questions as you want. Selection procedure includes preliminary exams, main examination followed by interview. The preliminary exam is also called the CSAT Exam. IAS Written Exam Pattern: Optional Subjects for Main Exam: Official Website: http://www.upsc.gov.in |
