What is the pattern of IBPS PO Exam? Will there be any negative marking for this exam? How many questions should I answer to clear this Exam?
Tell me the pattern of IBPS PO exam. Is there any negative marking?? How much questions atleast should I do to get clear and plz suggest me the best book for this,.

This is minimum cut off marks for General candidates . Reserved application must secure :- ~~Reasoning :- 21 Marks from 50 Mrs. ~~English Language :- 21 Marks from 50 Mrs. ~~Numerical ability :- 21 Marks from 50 Mrs. ~~General awareness :- 21 Marks from 50 Mrs. ~~Computer awareness :- 21 Marks from 50 Mrs. Then only reserved candidates examination clear in Probationary officer , if you are secured 20 marks in any section then it is considered as fail not pass . So , you have to secure at least 21 marks or more marks in each section . The total score is 105 marks Descriptive Marks (it is not mentioned) . the pattern of IBPS exam is multiple choice questions. total marks is 250 which is divided into 5 section.each section contains 50 marks. 1. QUANTITATIVE APTITUDE 2.VERBAL ABILITY 3.LOGICAL REASONING 4.GENERAL AWARENESS 5.COMPUTER & MARKETING reference books are_____ 1.MATHS---objective mathematics by R.S AGARWAL, tricky mathematics by M.TIRA 2.ENGLISH---objective english by R.S AGARWAL,a mirror of common errors by ASHOK KUMAR SING, H.C HARDWICK all volumes 3.REASONING------verbal by R.S AGARWAL & ARIHAN PUBLICATION, non-verbal by R.S AGARWAL 4.GENERAL AWARENESS----pratiyogita darpan monthly & unique general studies 5.COMPUTER 7 MARKETING----ARIHANT & LUCENT PUBLICATION there is 1/3 negative marking in IBPS PO. |

english 50 ques - 25 marks
reasoning 50 ques- 50 marks quantitative aptitude 50 ques -50 marks general awareness 50 ques -50 marks computer 50 ques -50 marks and paper 2 ( 25 marks ) MINIMUM 70% MARKS TO CRACK IN IBPS ANDeach section qualified seperately. |

Selection process : Written Exam Interview IBPS Po Exam Pattern : Reasoning English Language Quantitative Aptitude General Awareness Computer Knowledge Each section carrying 50 questions & each question carrying one mark Duration of Exam : 150 Min Descriptive Paper English Composition (Essay , Precis , Letter Writing ) : 50 marks Duration of Exam : 60 Min Each wrong answer 0.25 marks(1/4) will be reduced |

IBPS(Institute of Banking Personal Institute) is conducts bank PO exam for 19 banking sectors. Eligibility criteria for bank PO: Graduation from a recognised university. Being a final year candidate also eligible for bank PO exam. Candidate should be a citizen of india. Age limits is 21 years to 30 years, 3 years upper age relaxation for OBC candidates, 5 years upper age relaxation for sc/st candidates. Exam pattern: General english, General awareness, Quantitative aptitude, Logical reasoning, Computsf knowledge. Each part consists of 50 marks, and each negative answer will reduce 0.25 marks. Hi,
IBPS stands for Institute Banking Personnel Selection. This exam conducts for banking po for 19 banking sectors. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: the candidate should complete the graduation from any recognized university. There is no minimum percentage required for this bank exam. The final year candidates are eligible for the bank exam. Age limit: your age should be between 18 to 28 years. 3 years age relaxation for obc candidates. 5 years age relaxation for sc/st candidates. The candidate should be citizen of india. Both male and female candidates are eligible for this exam. Syllabus for IBPS PO: General awareness Reasoning English Language Quantitative Aptitude Computer Knowledge the each subject has consist the 50 marks. For IBPS Bank PO exam you need to be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized university and you also have to secure minimum 55% of marks at graduation level.
The age limit varies from 21-30 years and there is age relaxation for the SC/ST and OBC candidates. The syllabus of the exam includes 50 questions of reasoning of 50 marks, 50 questions of english language of 25 marks, 50 questions of quantitative aptitude of 50 marks, questions from general awareness of 50 marks, questions related to computer of 50 marks and there is a descriptive paper containing 50 questions of 25 marks. For every wrong answer 1/4 marks will be deducted from the actual score so do not wild guess too much. If you get selected then you will be called for the personal interview session. IBPS stands for Indian Personnel Banking Selection......... IBPS conduct PO's Probationary Officers for 19 Nationalised Banks in india IBPS PO's total marks are 250 Marks....... Syllabus for PO's Exam is : - 1. Reasoning 2. General Awareness 3. English Language 4. Computer Knowledge and 5. Quantitative aptitude Each Part consist 50 Marks......... for 1 right answer you get 1 mark and 1 wrong answers deduct 0.25 marks...... if you want qualify in this exam, you must be score in every part 40% marks...... means in every part you compulsory score 20 marks otherwise you are not eligible for this examination Eligibility Criteria : you must complete your graduation from any recognised university and your age between 21 to 30, and relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per norms....... and you should be a citizen of India.. all the best.........
