TANCET Exam Details:-

If you want to do M.Tech from any one of the University Colleges of Anna University then you have to sit for this examination.

To pursue M.Tech from this university you need to have any one of the following qualification:-

• A B.E./B.Tech degree from a recognized university.
• An MCA degree of three years from a recognized university.
• An M.Sc Integrated Degree Programme of five years.
• A B.Pharm. / B.Sc in Agriculture / Forestry / Horticulture / Fishery.

GATE Exam Details:-

GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. This exam is conducted by the IIT's. This exam gives the opportunity to pursue post-graduate engineering programmes like M.E., M.Tech, direct Ph.D from any one of the IIT's as well as from other such institutes which provides the master's degree course. You can also use the GATE score to look for jobs in the Public sector units(PSUs).

To give this exam following qualification needs to be satisfied:-

• B.E./B.Tech/B.Arch/B.Pharma.
• M.Sc/M.A./MCA in Science/ Mathematics / Statistics/Computer applications
• M.E./M.Tech or Dual Degree in Engineering
• Integrated Master’s degree programs in Engineering (four year programme)
