Eligibility Conditions for Teacher Eligibility test

1)Qualifications required for becoming Teacher's for Classes I-V (Primary Stage) -

• Candidates should have a minimum qualification of 10+2/Inter pass out with a minimum of 50% marks and should have a 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education.
• Those candidates who have passed their 10+2 with 45% and having a degree of 4 years degree of bachelor of Elementary Education(B.EL.ED) can also apply for this exam.

2)Qualification required for becoming Teacher's for Classes VI-VIII (Elementary Stage) -

• Candidates should have a Bachelor degree with 2 year's Diploma of Elementary Education degree/1 Year's B.Ed degree from recognized university.
• Candidates minimum marks in Bachelor degree course should be 50%.

Exam Pattern for Teacher Eligibility Test :

• Total duration of Exam will be 1 hour and 30 minutes.
• Total Number of questions will be 150.
• Total number of sections will be 5.
• All questions will be Objective type with Multiple choice answers.
• There will be NO negative Marking.

Exam Syllabus for Teacher Eligibility Test :

1. Child Development and Pedagogy - 30 Questions.
2. Language I - 30 Questions.
3. Language II - 30 Questions.
4. Mathematics - 30 Questions.
5. Environmental Studies - 30 Questions.

How To Apply :

1. Candidates who are interested to apply for TET Exam will have to visit www.cbse.nic.in or www.ctet.nic.in and you will have to click "Apply Online" Menu to fill your Necessary details.
2. You will have to upload your Photo and Signature through scanning the documents.
3. After submission you will have to make a Demand Draft of Rs 800(General/OBC candidates) or Rs 400(SC/ST/PH Candidates) in favour of "Secretary,central Board of Secondary Education" Payable at "Delhi".

After doing all the above activities you will have to send the form along with DD of required amount using Envelope size of 12" x 9" and for address paste the address produce with the registration form during online fill up process.

Is there any assurance of getting a govt. high school's teacher post after passing otet exam???
