The candidate who has completed graduation degree course from any stream from a recognised University within the age of 20 to 30years can apply for the post of Bank Probationary Officer. The final year graduation degree exam appearing candidates are also eligible to apply for bank P.O. The candidate applying for bank P.O. has to clear the exam conducted by respective banks which comprises of written test followed by personal Interview.
The candidate can also appear for IBPS bank P.O. examination conducted for recruitment of bank P.O. in 19 banks. Fopr SBI bank P.O. the candidate should be a graduate from any stream within the age of 21 to 30 years of age. |

Probationary Officer is one of the important post in bank. To join as a probationary officer in bank you need to clear an examination conducted by the bank and it can be named as Bank PO exam. To appear in that examination you have some eligibility criteria. Each bank has its own eligibility criteria list. Some general rules which most of the bank follows are
1. You must be a citizen of India. 2. Your age must be above 21years and below 30years. If you are an OBC candidate you have 3 years age relaxation and for SC/ST candidate 5 years age relaxation. 3. You must have completed your graduation of any discipline from a recognized university. 4. You must have scored at least 60% as an aggregate in your graduation. If you belong SC/ST or OBC category 55% is enough. |

FOR BANK PO u need to be a graduate or engg. graduate with atleast 60% marks. Moreover your age should be 21- 30 years. Now due to the changing trend, a common test is being conducted by IBPS for bank PO (govt. banks) u need to qualify this test and have a valid score . Private banks notify for the jobs separately.

You should be between 20 and 30 years on the prescribed year. There are different kinds of age relaxations for different groups of people, like SC, OBC, Ex Servicemen, etc.
Further, you should have a degree from any recognized university. Further, you should be a citizen of India or a subject of Tibet/Nepal or a person who migrated to Pakistan, Burma, Srilanka, etc. or a Pakistani refugee. All the best. |

Eligibility for BANK PO exam:-- 1.Candidate must have complete the graduation in any trade from a recognized university. 2.Final year candidates can also apply for the exam. 3.Candidate has to secure 60% aggregate through out the career. 4.Candidates age should be in between 21-35 years. For SC/ST the upper ager relaxation is 5 years and for OBC the upper age relaxation is 3 years. 5.Candidate must be computer literate. These are the eligibility criteria you have to fulfill. IBPS PO exam eligibility;- candidate should be a graduate or equivalent. The same should be in any stream from a recognized university with a minimum requisite of 65% average mark for general category 60% for other classes is a must. Age Limit : 21-30 years for general category. Eligibility Educational Qualification: Candidate must be a graduate in any discipline. Candidate must have secured 60% aggregate in graduation. For some banks aggregate is 55%. Bank PO jobs are in hot demand these days. This is because of the good amount of salary offered for these positions in addition to several benefits.
The competition for these positions is going on increasing from the past 4-5 years especially after IBPS came into picture. The eligibility criteria to apply for PO positions have changed recently. As per the changed criteria, in order to apply for PO positions, -One should have completed Graduation with any of the stream with a minimum of 60% of marks. The candidates of SC or ST category would be given relaxation in percentage of marks upto 5%. The required age criteria will be as follows Candidates of General category should be in the age of 20-28 years. Relaxation in upper age limit upto 3 years for the candidates of OBC category. Relaxation in upper age limit upto 5 years for the candidates of SC or ST category. The selection procedure would involve Written Exam Interview The written exam consists of questions from the following categories Reasoning Numerical Ability General Awareness General English Computer Knowledge There is negative marking in the written exam for wrong answer questions.
