The All India Pre Medical Test (AIPMT) was a yearly college entrance examination in India. The exam was conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education. AIPMT is equivalent to the AIEEE which is conducted by the CBSE for entrance to nationally funded institute in India.

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMSs) are a group of autonomous public medical colleges of higher education. Ranked the best medical college in India by most surveys. And also has one of the most toughest admittance rate in the world.

AIIMS stands for All India Institute of Medical Sciences where as AIMPT stands for All India Pre Medical Test.
AIMPT is a yearly college entrance examination conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), to get in to MBBS and BDS courses in several medical colleges in India. Previously, allocation of seats were based on merit without any reservation only. since 2006 reservations for SC, ST and OBC have been introduced in AIPMT.
AIIMS is the most selective and seeked medical institutes in the world. Six new AIIMS like institutions are started this year with an aim of increasing oppurtunities for medical aspirants. Candidates should clear the AIIMS entrance exam to get in to this prestigious institution.

the difference between aiims and aipmt:

-->aiims -all india institute of medical science .it is autonomus public medical college of higher studies....this entrance exam is conducted to get seat in the top institutions.....

-->aipmt -all india pre-medical test.....it is equal to aieee ...which is conducted by the cbse board...

medium student i mean is this test also conduct in hindi language
