Re: What is the scope in MSc Zoology?
Hello friend.
Depends on your university. There would be advanced course in specific disciplines, i.e. ornithology or limnology. If you want to hang around to decide on your PhD, they might allow you to take research hours. Whatever, they usually don't allow a student to stay unless they are enrolled in a program. Thanks. |

Re: What is the scope in MSc Zoology?
you could specialise in the genetic and microbiological research areas of zoology.
Also you can do Ph.D in your area of interest. CSIR laboratory also offered some Ph.D programmes. |

Re: What is the scope in MSc Zoology?
Hi,
Well you have two options after M.Sc. in Zoology. Either you opt for part time college teaching or for full time school teaching. I am saying Part Time for college because mostly colleges take full time lecturers if and only if that person has a PhD. in their academical career. If it is government college then qualifying a PSC(Public Service Commission) or NET (National Eligibility Test)will be necessary depending on the university or organization that you will be joining. If you do not prefer this then you will have to stay as part time lecturer. But if you give School Service Commission(SSC) then you will get placement in government schools. Remember this will give you security of decent job and a secure salary at the end of the month. But all this will happen only if you clear SSC and the corresponding interview in the school itself. Here the position is itself full time and no part time situation will fall here. |
