A candidate to be eligible for requirement for Uttar Pradesh Trained Graduate Teachers include:

- A Citizen of India

- Candidate must possess a Graduation degree in relevant subject and B.ED or any other training certificate is required

- Age limit : Candidate age should be minimum 21 years and not more than 60 years ( There is relaxation in age limit rules as per government norms)

So, there has been no changes in the selection criteria for Uttar Pradesh Trained Graduate Teacher.

Selection Process : UP TGT/PGT selection process comprised of total 100 points. Distribution can be as follows:

- Written exam has 85% marks weightage

- Interview has 10% marks weightage

- Specific qualification has 5% marks weightage (2% marks for PhD/M.Phill) (2% marks for M.ED ) |(1% marks for B.ED qualification)
