hi i am gupta. i am doing my diploma in computer science.my question is to choose cs or is?

hii, CS and IS are both same, IS is the branch of CS , but some software companies inly ask CS so CS has upper hand.

there was no upper cut off and lower cut off was very high almost 23-24 out of 35..so be aware of this.

Must prepare C, DATA STRUCTURE, one object oriented language C++ or JAVA and two subject your favorite.

Cs and IS are mostly similar only

u can better choose CS itself

As you know CS is the good branch in Engineering and IS is the counterpart of Cs. So i would like to suggest you to go for CS instead of IS after completion of diploma course.
This field is growing field for the students as everyday there is discovery of new technology. So a student having computer science branch must have to update yourself according to the market or industries need.
So better to go for CS.
