hi i am rohith studying intermediate second year i want to become an astronaut in nasa and i am very keen about it.please tell the ways about what i must do after intermediate to become an astronaut in nasa

To enter into NASA you have to hit the bull's eye. i.e. you have to prove yourself first to your countrymen. For getting into NASA, you can do the aerospace engineering from the institutes like
IITs
SRM, Kattankulathur(Chennai)
MIT,Manipal etc.
After graduation,
NASA conducts an open examination after graduate students by which you can get into it. But the competition is very high so you to be prepared very well to get into it as its a passionate profession to be a scientist of a student at NASA.
If you do not qualify for NASA incase, please do join ISRO as our country needs you. you must watch the movie SWADES for the knowledge of NASA and be passionate about it.

--Must be enrolled full-time at an accredited university in the U.S. or U.S. Territory.
--Must be a rising sophomore or junior.
--Must have earned and must maintain a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
--Must be pursuing a degree in science, technology, engineering or mathematics.

Astronuat is something whose preparation starts from scrap

• read everthing you can get your hands on about astronauts,space and whatever field you want to work in.
• For astronuat a college degree is necessity and of course the grades in too either it is engineering, biological or physical sciencd or mathematics.
• If you do M.S it is well and good.

After college you need 3 years of related experience in your field.

after degree and some experience its time to apply for astronauts positions.NASA recieces an averge of 4015 application to fill around 20 slots for every 2 years.and they call around 118 applicants from total for ASB interview based on
experience
potentioal
motivation
ability to function as team
and communication skill.

If applicant intersted in pilot or commandor position then instead of mission specialist then you have to go for at least 1000 hours of flight time in commant of a jet aircraft.These type of training you have to face and need to do in future that why many Many applicants do not meet medical standards while others withdraw after learning all that the job entails. After all these incidents Astronaut Selection Board chooses final candidates and pass to NASA and their decision will be final.
Be prepare physically and Mentally as this not the 9-5 job which one expect but a 24 to 24 hr full dedication........

my dream was to work in nasa as an astrophysist`i had completed my intermediet.if i take b.sc phy, later m.sc astro phy can i get a job there in nasa

it's good that you have a high ambition in life. but to join in NASA is not so much easy task. to join in NASA you should have very good work experience and also good potential.

to become astronaut you have to study on this. you have to take admission in Astronomy subject in graduation. after that you have to do master degree and p.hd. then you have to work on astronomy field ans also you must be successful in this field.

after experience you may get chance to join in NASA. it's not an easy task. very tough to join in NASA. so many good students are dreaming to join in NASA. but only few get chances to join there.

so you must be intelligent as well as successful to join in NASA. you should try your best. for this keep concentration on your study. always try to think in deep about a topic. your thinking power must be out of boundary.

to join NASA you should be a intelligent students. you have to study further in astronaut. after p.hd you have to do research. then when NASA will publish recruitment notification if you are eligible then apply for that. after examination and interview you may get chance to join in NASA.

After 12th you may jion any course ralated to that perticular field and try to appear in ISro examination if you gain some exprerience then apply for the Nasa and make your dream sucess. you can apply direct nasa also but their are very less chance to join that ..

you first do aerospace engineering or aeronautical engineering from any good university and work hard.

good luck.

well becoming an astronaut is indeed one of the most

toughest and most charming passions for people.

only 5-10 people generally goto space per year.

you should try to study aerospace engineering,/ geology/ geophysoics/ robotics etc.

such kind of branches have the most application in space

hence they will maximize your chances.

being the best in whatever you do will help your case a lot

but that is not in our hands.

Try joining NASA or ISRO or IAF and you may get to fulfill

your dream of being an astronaut.

astronauts are generally chosen from the best air commanders in the air staff or navy...

first you have to do your B.tech in aeronautical field that too from a highly reputed institution which is known all around the world.You have to work hard with intelligence and you should update day to day happenings in that field,you should also be creative in your mind.

I am student of 1st year Mechanical Eng.. After my B.E. what should I do for getting higher education in aerospace eng. with NASA?

you should complete your 12th standard with science (PCM) then go for a engineering course ( Mechanical, electronics, AERONAUTICS, aerospace) after that you can sit for enterence examination for ISRO or NASA, but to be an astronaute you should be pilot and for that you had to again complete the Pilot trainning course fro any flying acadamy or join Aviation wing of our armed forces.

no you have to study M.B.B.S

By pursuing a career in genetic engineering you will be learning the science of making modifications in the existing characteristics of living being. The changes are made in the code of the DNA. You have an option to either go for BSc and then MSc or you could go for engineering course. IIT offers both engineering and BSc and MSc course. There a lots of institutes offering courses in BSc and MSc like All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Bharathiar University, Calicut University, Faculty of applied science etc. It is must that the candidate pursue to biology, chemistry during 12th standard. Along with the two science subjects it is a must that mathematics also should have been one of the subjects studied. So it is not possible to select this field without taking mathematics in 12th standard.
