Can I apply for Indian Air Force 'X' group if I got 37 marks in Mathematics, 56 marks in Physics and 62 marks in English in Intermediate board exams? If not, then what is the standard score criteria for 'X' group of IAF?

The minimum eligibility criteria required to apply for Indian Air force Airmen Group X recruitment are as below :-

* You must be an unmarried Indian male candidate.

* Your age must lie within 17 years to 21 years.

* You must have completed your Class 12th in Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main subjects with at least 50% marks overall and 50% marks in English as well from a recognised board of education.

* You must hold the physical fitness as per the service requirement norms.

So, as per the details mentioned by you, you are eligible to apply for the Airman Y Group recruitment if your overall aggregate in Class 12th is 50% as you have managed more than 50% in English paper.

The minimum percentage in class 12th should be atleast 50% to apply in indian Air force group X examination. But call letter is sent to limited number of candidates only.
This depends upon total number of vacancies and total number of aspirants applied.

If you have total 50% or more in 12th then you can apply for this post. Educational qualification needs to apply for the exam for group 'X' job in Indian Air Force is candidate should have passed 12th/equivalent exam with Mathematics, Physics and English and he must have 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.

•Educational qualification required to be eligible for Indian air force group X (except education instructor trade) is = passed intermediate 10+2 or equivalent examinations with mathematics, physics and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.

To be eligible for Indian Air Force 'X' group exam, you must have scored at least 50% marks in aggregate in Physics, Mathematics and English. And at least 50% marks in English.

Since, your aggregate of 3 subjects is above 50% as well as English marks is above 50%, so you can apply for IAF Group 'X' exam.

So, if you have an aggregate of 50% in 10+2 than you are eligible to apply for the recruitment.
