Hi, I heard that we need to have a minimum score of 50% through out our academics i.e., in 10th, 12th and Graduation as well. Is it true? And, do we need 50% overall in 12th or 50% in Mathematics only?

MCA stands for Master in Computer Application which is actually a post graduation course.

To get admission into this course, you should have completed 10th, 12th (with Mathematics as compulsory subject) from a recognized Board. Also, you must have completed BCA from a recognized University.

Note that you must have secured at least 50% marks in BCA to be eligible for getting admission to MCA course.

There is no such percentage requirement for 12th standard or for any particular subject. However, you must have passed 12th with Mathematics as primary subject.

The minimum score to get admission in MCA -
1. Interested candidates must either complete bba, bca, b.tech and also science or computer graduation courses.
2. Must have studied science subject in 10 + 2.
3. Must have 60% marks in graduation for MCA.
