Minimum educational qualification required for UGC NET Public Administration branch?
I have done BA in Public Administration and MA in International Relations. Now, can I apply for UGC NET Public Administration branch examination? If yes, then also let me know about the upcoming exam date? Has it been postponed due to COVID?

Candidates securing at least 55% marks in their Master’s Degree or equivalent from recognized universities in Humanities (including languages), Social Science, Computer Science and Applications, Electronic Science, etc. are eligible for this test.
In your case MA with minimum 55% marks than you are eligible. |

UGC NET stands for University Grants Commission National Eligibility test. This examination is now conducted by National Testing Agency twice every year for Lectureship and Junior Research Fellowship.
The minimum academic qualification required for UGC NET exam is master's degree in relevant stream with minimum of 55% marks. There is no upper age limit for Lectureship. The date announced by NTA for conducting June 2020 exam is 16-18 September and 21-25 September 2020. |

Yes you can apply. exam Right now, the NET exams are being conducted for June from 16 Sep to 18 Sep, 2020. So you will have to wait for December. NET exams are held twice in a year. |

Extended Online Application and Registration Date=16th March 2020 to 30th June 2020 (5:00 PM)(over,you can apply next time)
UGC NET June 2020 Exam Dates=16th to 18th September 2020 21st to 25th September 2020 You can register for UGC NET in 2021 in February. You can update yourself in www.ugcnet.nta.nic.in |
