What is the standard eye sight requirement for the post of Sub-Inspector Police?


Sir, I am wearing glasses since last 6 years. I have 2.5 eye sight. If I undergo operation then would I be eligible to apply for the post of Sub-Inspector in Police? Which exam do I need to appear for Sub-Inspector Police post?
