Re: What subjects should I choose in 10+2 to join Air Force?
You should choose Physics and Mathematics as your major subjects, if you have to join the airforce. This is mandatory for all men who wish to become pilots. You have to clear the NDA exam conducted by the UPSC. All Indian nations not above the age of 19 years can give this exam. There are also options after graduation, engineering and post graduation. Decision should be based on the job profile that interests you.

Re: What subjects should I choose in 10+2 to join Air Force?
Indian Air Force can be joined in various ways. As you have not specified to which category of Indian Air Force you want to join, here are mentioned a general view:-
Air Force can be joined as Air Man Trade for which the candidate should have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics & English with 50% marks. For Air Force wing through NDA(National Defence Academy) exam conducted by UPSC twice every year, the candidate should have completed 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised university within the age of 16.5 to 19 years. The candidate must be an unmarried Indian male. So it is better to purse 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in order to join Indian Air Force. |

Re: What subjects should I choose in 10+2 to join Air Force?
Hi dear..
To join Indian Air Force, you need to take up Science stream and have Physics and Maths as compulsory subjects, with one language ( preferably English). After completing your +2 , you can appear for NDA(National Defense Services) or CDSE (Common Defense Services) Examination , both are organized by UPSC twice every year. The minimum qualification you need is :- ~> +2 with at least 60% aggregate marks with Physics and Maths as compulsory subjects. ~~> You can apply after Graduation too. For this you must have done B.Sc. or B.Tech/B.E with at least 60% aggregate marks. ~> Final year student can also apply but he should have no backs. Note :- If you are a girl, then you could not appear for NDA after +2 , you have to complete your graduation and then appear for CDSE. All the best..!! With Warm Regards Sammy |

Re: What subjects should I choose in 10+2 to join Air Force?
You can join airforce with all three subjects . For airmen entry you can join technical entry(x group ) with pcm(science) , non technical (y group) with arts or commerce. For officer entry you must have pcm (science) for nda entry. After graduation you can join airforce with science stream through Cds/ Afcat entry. You also can become officer after b.com
