What is the syllabus and exam pattern of PhD entrance test of Economics, Patna University?


Hi, I have applied to PhD Economics from Patna University for which I have to appear for entrance examination. Therefore, could anybody please share the syllabus and exam pattern details of PhD Economics entrance conducted by Patna University? Also, share model test papers with answers.

Patna University offers Ph.D admission based on entrance PAT (Ph.D Admission Test).

Patna University Ph.D (Economics) Eligibility
You must have passed Master's degree in Economics or Mathematics or Statistics with at least 55% marks in aggregate or it's equivalent grade 'B' in UGC 7 point scale from a recognized university.

PAT Entrance Pattern and Syllabus

Paper I - General and Research Aptitude (100 Marks)
- Questions will be objective type.
- Number of Questions : 100
- Duration : 1 Hour

Syllabus
- Research Aptitude
- Language Aptitude
- Logical Reasoning
- Numerical Ability
- Data Interpretation
- Environment and Sustainability
- Computer Information and Communication Technology Awareness

Paper II : Economics (100 Marks)
- Questions will be subjective type from subject of postgraduate.
- Total Marks : 100
- Duration : 2 Hours

Syllabus
- Macroeconomics
- Microeconomics
- Mathematics, Statistics and Econometrics
