What is the test pattern of IBM?

i want the pattern of IBM written test

IBM is a multi national of international repute and holds high stature in the field of computers.

There are a total of 2 rounds.

Round I Written
Round II Interview


Round I Written

The written round consists of 40 questions equally divided into two sections viz, the Aptitude part and the Technical part.

The aptitude part has some distance-time-speed type problems, some age related problems, some clock related problems and work related problems.

The technical part has questions mainly from C and OS. There are also a few questions related to time complexity, binary trees and pointers.

Round II Interview

The interview has a two member panel and as usual starts with a self introduction of the candidate.

It's a mixed interview, has both HR and technical questions. One member keeps asking tech stuff while the other concentrates on HR. The HR person will surely ask you about holidaying some where, so be prepared. The tech person seemed to be interested in C and DBMS.

As here you asked the exam or the recruitment patterns of the IBM so here i am giving you the recruitment procedure of the latest patterns.

First you have to seat for the aptitude test it mainly consist of the 3 parts one is series there is mainly different type of the series. This part consist of the 20 question . It no of question may me vary but time for the each question is 30 to 45 sec.

Second part of the aptitude section is the matrix there are also 15 question time is same for the each question 30 to 45 sec.

Third section is general aptitude section there are also 15 to 20 question for each question time is 30 to 45 sec.

If you successfully completed or cleared the aptitude round then you will called for the pricey writing. There is a large paragraph that you have to convert in 6 to 7 sentences in 15 min.

If you cleared this round then you have to go through the GD round.

Finally you have to face the technical and hr interview round for the final selection.

So this is the recruitment procedure of the IBM in the latest patterns. For the aptitude round you can prepare form the different book like RS Agarwal or other aptitude book. You can take help of the different website for preparation of the aptitude.

Eligibility for IBM:-

1)-You must have score at least 60% through out your career.
2) You should not have any pending backlog.
3) Year gap of more than one year is not allowed.
