What is the total gross salary per month when we do a software job? Can you please let me know if it would be good to take the software job or consider that this job is the best? Awaiting for the suggestion and answer from everyone who is here.

Software is in good boom now in India. Good salaries are being offered to the candidates in the software jobs.

The minimum academic qualification that is required for the candidates in order to make entry into software companies is B.Tech or MCA.

The selection procedure for Freshers is
Written Test
Group Discussion
Interview

The eligibility criteria would be
-Candidates should have scored a minimum of 60% of marks in all the academics.
-Candidates who are pursuing final year of B.Tech are also eligible.
-There should not be any pending backlogs for the candidates.
-The academic gap should not be more than 2 years if any

As per the salary offered, it would be 3-3.5L for Freshers by most of the companies. However some top companies like Microsoft and Oracle will offer much salary than this.

Some small companies will offer 10K-15K. So, the salary offered will be varied from one company to another company.

Again, your salary will be varied depending upon the college or university from which you completed your highest academic qualification. If you did your Engineering from IIT's, your salary will be very high.

For experienced candidates, minimum 30% of hike will be given on their current salary and they will be having couple of rounds of Interview for the selection procedure.

At Fresher level, don't think too much about the salary. Focus on gaining work and try for innovation. After gaining good work experience, from time to time you can promotions and salary increments.

In India, the average salary of a Software Engineer is about Rs.3.6 lakh whereas a software engineer who is working in US has a salary of 71k dollar (i.e. Rs.44 lakh).

It is nearly 12.4 times more than that of the salary being paid in our nation.

Just because there are too many software engineers in India.

Every year about 1 million engineers pass-out from the colleges.

While the software companies require only 2 lakh among them.

Also, there is a shortage of good engineers in our country.

Though we have a large mass of engineers but due to lack of the knowledge in them, they fail to perform the task instructed by the company.
