What type of questions can be asked in civil services in G.S.....

hi..
there is no subject called general science in ias examination i guess you are talking about general studies paper,
there is no limit to tell what kind of question can be asked in gs in the ias exam,
because in the general studies section the syllabus is vast and almost covers all the field of education and hence there can be no guess about what can be asked ,
you have to really work hard and practice well,
take an coaching if possible because there should be an guidance for the ias exam .
also give as many mock tests as possible for this exam because that will expose you to variety of questions,
you can also get the previous years question papers at www.upsc.gov.in
please download it and go through it,that will give you an better idea of the examination,
i am attaching the previous years papers also to give you an better and broader idea

The questions asked in CSE examination will be different but very easy to answer if you have perfect grip on the subject

for example the question in general studies will be like this


Aperson travelled a distance of 50km in 8 hours. He covered a part
of the distance on foot at the rate of 4km per hour and a part on a
bicycle at the rate of 10 km per hour. How much distance did he
travel on foot?

this is the question and the options will be

a) 10 km
b) 20 km
c) 30 km
d) 40 km

you have to give your answer in the omr sheet.

in this way the questions will be in the civils entrance examination. that too in general studies
