What is the validity period of OBC certificate? Is it one year only or it comes with lifetime validity? On what basis the date is covered? Is it from the date of issue or normal one calendar year or financial year?

The validity of the OBC Certificate varies from state to other state. In general it is valid for 3 financial years and in few states it is valid for 6 months & 1 year. The validity date is mentioned on it and if it is not mentioned then it is from the date of issue further 3 years it will be valid.
