# There is no any separate examination for recruitment of custom officers. The recruitment of custom officer is done through Civil Service Aptitude Test (CSAT). The CSAT is conducted by UPSC every year for the followings positions/services:

* Indian Administration Service (IAS)
* Indian Police Service (IPS)
* Indian Revenue Service (IRS)

# The scheme and pattern of examination (i.e. IAS/IPS Examination) is:

* Only four attempts fixed for general category.
