could you tell me when is I.A.S. Preliminary Exam in this year and please give me detail of that exam how can i study for That exam

I.A.S prelims exam notification came on 19feb and last date of submission of application was 21 march date of exam was 12 june

hi...the indian administartive services preliminary examination was held in the month of june this year and is also expected to be held around same time next year also,so if you are preparing for the examination then see the notification in the employment around the month of january or february ,as far as the details of the exam are concerned there are two basic elegibility conditions and they are as follows:
1.you should be an grdauate from any recognised university or college in the country,even the final yea students are elegible to write the exam provided they produce pass certificate at the time of the interview.
2.the minimum age limit is of 21 years and that of maximum age limit is 3o years for general category candidates with relaxation of five years for sc/st candidates
this exam is the toughest exam in the country and to prepare for this you have to do real hard work ,its better to tak coaching for proper guidance in institutes like vajiram and ravi or chanakya academy in new delhi.

To Become IAS Officer You need To Appear for the Civil Services Examination and To apply for this examination you need to be a graduate in any discipline from a recognised University and your age should between 21 yo 30 years.

The examination was conducted Into Two Stages, Preliminary Exam and Main Examination.

For this Year Preliminary Examination was Completed Successfully on 12/June/2011 and those candidates cracked this examination are eligible to sit for Main Examination, The Main examination are going to be held on 29/10/2011.

The Result of Preliminary examination was still not Declared, So If you have Appear the Preliminary examination, then please wait for the result, Because the result will be announced soon.

The Preliminary examination was Objective Type and There are 2 Papers in this examination both are of Same Marks and Duration, So Please prepare for this examination according to the syllabus, I have Provide you the Syllabus, So please check It and For More details check the official website -

When is IAS prelim exam this year?

Date of Notification : 19/Feb/11

To become an IAS officer,you will have to qualify an examination that is conducted by UPSC.the exam is conducted in three stages:-
1.CSAT
2.MAINS
3.INTERVIEW

The eligibility to appear in the exam are as follows:-
1.You should have done your graduation from any stream.
2.Your age should be above 21 years.

The preliminary exam of this ayear has already taken place,you can appear now in next year.

Sorry you are so late.Preliminiary exam of IAS exam for this year is already completed in June month.

Main exam for IAS will be conducted in the month of Ocober.you have missed chance for this year because you can't apply for main exam directly.you have to apply next year.

For your information,to apply for IAS exam you have to complete your graduation after graduation you can apply for this exam.

For IAS exam you age should be between 21-30 year after this you will not be eligible for this exam.

IAS exam conducted in two stages Preliminiary exam and Main exam.first you have to apply for preliminiary exam if you clear Preliminiary exam then you can apply for Main exam.
