when mtech entrance and what is the syllabys?

dear friend, the dates are not same for all the college , who conduct the entrance exams of m.tech, and you dont mention the college name...............so, please always ask your question in detail............i will post the syllabus of m.tech in the given attach file, get it from there......

gate exam is conducted every year for the m.tech course,
this year it was conducted on the 14th feb,2010,next year it will be conducted in the feb,
but there is no any notification till now,

The specific time of M.Tech entrance can't be said, as different universities conduct different entrance test through out the year.

For getting into the prestigious IITs, NITs and IISC for M.Tech ,you have to score in the GATE exam. Generally its commencement time is in February.

Coming to the syllabus part, at first,you have to mention which trend of M.Tech you want to study with and then i can give the details about the syllabus of that.

you have not mentioned which M.Tech entrance test you are seeking for..
Still i can tell you that the GATE exam forms are available from the month of november every year.

For other entrance test you have to mention particularly which entrance test date you want to know,then we can help you better.

The foremost mtech entrance is well known as GATE exam which give admissison in all the majoring colleges of India.
However there are other entrance exams in the list which are basically state level , their names are:
-TANCET (Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test):
This exam is conducted by Anna University for admission to M.Tech and other PG courses in its affiliated colleges.
-Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) Karnataka:
This exam is counducted by Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) for admission to M.Tech
-Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (PGECET):
PGECET is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University on behalf of APSHCE (Andhra Pradesh state higher education council) for admission into M.E. / M,Tech./M.Pharm./M.Arch / M.Plg. (full time) in University and affiliated Engineering colleges in A.P.
