When is Neet 2021 examination is going to be conducted during covid-19 pandemic. What is the eligibility to apply for this examination.
Is there any chance of extending this date of examination?

NEET is National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test is conducted for admission in UG and PG medical courses.

The eligibility to appear for the NEET UG is that candidate must have passed std 12th from a recognised board in PCB as main paper with minimum 50% aggregate.

There is no upper age limit to appear in the examination.

NEET 2021 examination is scheduled to be conducted on 01st August 2021. If any extension due to COVID then there will be announcement.

✓ The NEET 2021 exam for post graduate students, scheduled to be held on April 18, has been postponed for the time being, in view of the rising Covid-19 cases.
The date of Examination will be announced later.

As per the update on 12th March 2021, NEET UG is expected to be held on 1st August 2021 but this may get further postponed due to surge in COVID 19 pandemic situation in India.

Further, the basic qualification required for appearing in the NEET UG is a Class 12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as main subjects with at least 50% marks (or 40% in case of reserved category candidates) in aggregate in PCB group subjects from a recognized board of examination.

**NEET 2021 is the single entrance exam that will be conducted on August 1 for admissions to MBBS, BDS, Ayush, and other medical courses.

**In order to be eligible for the examination, candidates must qualify 12th class examination with Chemistry, Biology, Physics and English subjects.
**For General category candidates, it is mandatory to score 50% marks in 12th grade, ,
**whereas SC/ST/OBC category candidates must score 40% marks to become eligible for NEET 2021.
**The upper age limit for General Category is 25 years
The upper age limit for Reserved Category and PwD is 30 years.
