CSIR stands for Council of Scientific & Industrial Research and this examination is Conducted for the award of Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) and for determining eligibility for Lectureship.

~~ To apply for this examination you have to complete your Post graduate degree course in M.Sc or Equivalent with minimum 55% marks in any one the given subjects :

:: Chemical Sciences
:: Earth Sciences
:: Life Sciences
:: Mathematical Sciences
:: Physical Sciences

~~ Final year appearing candidates are also apply for CSIR NET Examination.

~~ Previous year Both June and December NET Examination was already completed and the Result of June CSIR NET Examination was already declared and availiable in the official website.

~~ If you have appeared for December CSIR NET Examination, then please wait for the Result because the Result was not yet Declared, When the result declared it will be updated in the official websites and you can checked from the given links.

CSIR NET - COUNCIL OF SCIENTIFIC AND INDUSTRIAL RESEARCH NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY TEST is conducted by CSIR twice every year one in the month of June and other in the month of December for selection of Lectureship and award of JRF(Junior Research Fellowship).

The candidate having post graduate degree in Science or equivalent degree with 55% marks from a recognised University in any of the following subjects can apply for CSIR NET:-

Mathematical Science
Chemical Science
Earth Science
Life Science
Physical Science

There is no age bar for Lectureship to apply for CSIR NET but the candidate should be within 28 years for JRF.

The result for June CSIR NET exam has already been announced which can be obtained in the official website of CSIR. If you have applied for December CSIR NET exam then you have to wait for some time as it is yet to be announced. So please be updated with the officila website of CSIR i.e. www.csirhrdg.res.in/result
